According to the Beervana blog, my buddy Nate is a beer blogger. Is this true, Nate? Explain yourself.
That’s him in the reflective coat.

I am loving that you can buy 22s of Ninkasi Total Domination IPA in grocery stores. I’ve seen it at Freddies and New Seasons. Now that’s convenience!

Beer Camping!

I’m going camping today! Beer camping! The sort where you park at the camp site and sit in a folding chair and drink beer!

This is exciting to me because all my other camping trips have been the kind where you park your car, put a million pounds on your back, hike ten miles and then collapse in a lumpy clearing for the night- which is fun, too!

But, I’ve always been a little envious of the people who go camping with their friends and it isn’t any kind of survival challenge and they come back hungover.

Well, now that’s going to be me.

“Perhaps the most interesting thing about the most interesting man, in marketing terms, is his ambivalence toward the advertised product. “I don’t always drink beer,” he says. Whaa? “But when I do,” he adds, almost offhandedly, “I prefer Dos Equis.” Double whaa? Generally, a brand icon will be an all-out cheerleader. Imagine Tony the Tiger admitting that he doesn’t always eat cereal for breakfast, but that when he does, he tends to eat Frosted Flakes, like, most of the time.”
